Κατασκευή σεισμομέτρου μιας συνιστώσας για εκπαιδευτική χρήση.

Abstract

Η παρούσα εργασία αφορά τη μελέτη και κατασκευή εκπαιδευτικού σεισμογράφου μιας συνιστώσας. Ο σκοπός της είναι μέσα από τη μελέτη των θεωρητικών αρχών που διέπουν το βασικότερο όργανο της σεισμολογίας αλλά και από την επίλυση των προβλημάτων που προκύπτουν κατά την κατασκευή, να αποδειχθεί το εφικτό της ευκολίας κατασκευής. Η αρχική προσέγγιση στην κατασκευή του σεισμομέτρου ήταν να υλοποιηθεί ένα ήδη γνωστό σχέδιο αφενός προκειμένου να γίνει εξοικείωση με τις απαραίτητες κατασκευαστικές λεπτομέρειες και αφετέρου να αξιολογηθούν οι ανάγκες που προκύπτουν σε ένα τέτοιο εγχείρημα.

The current dissertation is about the study and development of an education on component seismograph. The main objective is, through the study of basic principles that govern the most basic seismological instrument and through the successful solutions to practical problems, to prove the easiness of development. The initial approach was to build an already known version of one component seismograph in order to be familiar with the development details and to justify the requirements needed for such a project. The experience that we gained from this stage helps us for the next stage where we propose, design and develop an improved version of the initial prototype seismograph.
