Πηγές και λουτροπόλεις της Ελλάδας.

Abstract

Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία με τίτλο “Πηγές και Λουτροπόλεις της Ελλάδας” μας δίνει την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουμε καλύτερα την φύση των πηγών και των λουτρών της Ελλάδας. Μέσα από τα κεφάλαια θα δούμε την εξέλιξη των λουτροπόλεων μέσα στην ιστορία, αλλά και τις διαφορές που υπήρχαν από χώρα σε χώρα. Θα οδηγηθούμε στον κόσμο των λουτρών από την αρχή μέχρι σήμερα και θα γνωρίσουμε τον κοινωνικό και ανθρωπιστικό τους χαρακτήρα. Τέλος, παρουσιάζονται τα λουτρά της Ελλάδας, τα οποία άλλα χρησιμοποιούνται ακόμα από την αρχαιότητα, αλλα είναι καινούρια και άλλα έπαψαν την λειτουργία τους. Με την σημερινή τεχνολογία και ιατρική, τα λουτρά έχουν γίνει από τις αγαπημένες ασχολίες των ανθρώπων όλων των ηλικιών και πόλος έλξης εκατομμυρίων τουριστών.

This graduation project entitled “ Thermal springs and Loutropolis in Greece” gives us the opportunity to understand better the nature of the sources of thermal water and spas in Greece. Through the sections we will watch not only the development of spa towns in history, but also the differences that existed from place to place. It will lead us to the world of baths from the beginning until today and will meet us the social and humanitarian nature of them. Finally, it presents the most important springs and Loutropolis in Greece, of which some are still in from antiquity, others are new and others have ceased their operation. With today's technology and medicine, the spas have become one of the favourite hobbies of people of all ages and attracts millions of tourists.
