| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή αντιπροσωπεύει την προσπάθεια μας να αναφερθούμε και να αναλύσουμε τη θεωρία της Αντικειμενοποίησης (Οbjectification) και τις επιπτώσεις της εντός των πλαισίων της ψυχολογίας και των δύο φύλων στην Ελλάδα. Η Αυτό-Aντικειμενοποίηση (Self- Objectification) είναι η τάση υπερεκτίμησης της εμφάνισης σε σχέση με οποιαδήποτε άλλη ικανότητα του ατόμου (Fredrickson & Roberts 1997). Πραγματοποιήσαμε έρευνα στο χώρο του ΤΕΙ Κρήτης με σκοπό να ασχοληθούμε με τις επιπτώσεις της θεωρίας της Aντικειμενοποίησης (Objectification). Το δείγμα μας περιελάμβανε 200 άτομα, άνδρες και γυναίκες ηλικίας 18 – 25. Διαπιστώσαμε ότι η εμφάνιση της Αυτό-Aντικειμενοποίησης (Self -Objectification) σχετιζεται με τη Συνειδητοποίηση Αντικειμενοποίησης του Σώματος, δηλαδή με τον βαθμό στον οποίο το άτομο δε συνειδητοποιεί ότι αντικειμενοποιεί το σώμα του, δηλ. το κοιτάει ως παρατηρητής. Επίσης αυτή η μελέτη καταδεικνύει ότι υπάρχει Αυτό- Αντικειμενοποίηση (Self- Objectification) στις γυναίκες και στους άντρες. Τέλος διαπιστώσαμε ότι η αρνητική διάθεση σχετίζεται με την περιορισμένη διατροφή και τη ντροπή για το σώμα. | el |
| dc.description.abstract | The present diploma paper presents our effort to prompt and analyse the Objectification theory and its concequences in the psychology of both genders in Greece. Self- Objectification is the tendecy to value appearance over obove abilitce. The research was held in TEI of Crete and our purpose was to deal with the concequences of Self-Objectification theory. Participants were 200 male and female between the ages of 18 to 25. We found that Self- Objectification is related with the Objectified Body Conciousness which means that Objectification affects the individual in an unconscious psychological way. Moreover, this study has shown that there is indeed Self- Objectification, in both men and women and particularly in men. Finally we found that Negative Mood is related with Restrained Eating and Body Shame. | en |
