Η βάση της εργασίας βρίσκεται στη συνεχόμενη λήψη και ανάλυση κάποιων μετρήσεων που πραγματοποιούνται στο computer room του Παραρτήματος και αφορούν την καταγραφή των πρωτοκόλλων που χρησιμοποιούνται περισσότερο, με τις web διευθύνσεις που έχουν τη μεγαλύτερη ζήτηση και και με τη χρήση του bandwidth που κάνουν οι χρήστες μέσω των ιστοσελίδων που χρησιμοποιούν. | el |
| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the thesis is to analyze and identify the network traffic as well as the associated network services of the overall network supporting the academic community of TEI of Crete / Branch of Chania. Such an analysis is useful when combined with the operation of the wireless extension of the above infrastructure and the projected traffic from the network traffic that will be originated by the new building of TEI under construction. Traffic measurements are based on the open source PRTG software and are carried out protocol by protocol and on an hourly-daily-monthly basis. | en |
