Τεχνικές τοποθέτησης μικροφώνων για ηχογραφήσεις σε κλειστό χώρο.

Abstract

Η παρακάτω ερεύνα περιέχει ένα μεγάλο όγκο με βασικές θεωρητικές γνώσεις ηχοληψίας αλλά και στο χώρο του ήχου γενικότερα. Στην παρούσα εργασία εστιάζουμε κυρίως (εκτός από κάποια γενικά στοιχεία για ζωντανές ηχογραφήσεις σε χώρους συναυλιών) σε ελεγχόμενες συνθήκες ηχογράφησης σε κλειστό χώρο -στούντιο. Σε τέτοιες ηχογραφήσεις, κατά το μεγαλύτερο τους μέρος, τα μικρόφωνα τοποθετούνται πολύ πιο κοντά στα όργανα απ’ ότι είναι σύνηθες στην ηχογράφηση κλασσικής μουσικής. Στο στούντιο, οι κοντινές τοποθετήσεις μικροφώνων τα οποία ονομάζονται “accent microphones” είναι πολύ περισσότερες διότι υπάρχει ανάγκη για άμεσο, δυνατό και λεπτομερή ήχο. Στην παρακάτω ερεύνα λοιπόν ακολουθεί ένα μεγάλο εύρος γνώσεων τεχνικών τοποθέτησης μικροφώνων πέρα από τις βασικές και γνωστές μεθόδους οι οποίες έχουν πραγματοποιηθεί σε αναγνωρισμένα στούντιο, καθώς συνοδεύονται με παραδείγματα οργάνων που θα μας βοηθήσουν ολοκληρώνοντας, να έχουμε μια πλήρη εικόνα στο τομέα της ηχογράφησης καθώς και μια δική μας άποψη αλλά και κρίση, ώστε να είμαστε σε θέση να εφαρμόσουμε αυτές τις μεθόδους και σε δικές μας εργασίες.

The following research consists of a large amount of theoretical knowledge upon several recording techniques, but also expands generally in the field of sound. In this present paper, we focus mainly (apart from some various facts and information about live recordings in live music stages) on recording rooms / studios which abide by controlled recording conditions. In such cases, on a vast majority, microphones are placed much closer than usual to the musical instruments, in comparison with recordings on classical and symphonic music recordings. In a recording studio, the close-mic positions (with microphones that are called “accent microphones”) are much more lot, due to the need of a direct, loud and precise signal of the produced sound. Thus, the following research examines a wide area of the collective cognition on the correct or commonly used microphone placing techniques, taking place in the most well-known recording studios around the globe. For each technique an example is provided, in order to have the field of recording being truly understood, alongside with the development of opinion and estimation in each and every individual that is subjected to this research, so that it could be in their ability to apply these techniques in their own projects.
