Επίδραση αιθέριου ελαίου βασιλικού στην αντιμετώπιση προνυμφών κουνουπιών.

Abstract

Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία πραγματοποιήθηκε στο εργαστήριο Γεωργικής Φαρμακολογίας του ΤΕΙ Κρήτης. Σκοπός του πειράματος είναι ο έλεγχος της αποτελεσματικότητας αιθέριου ελαίου βασιλικού διαφόρων συγκεντρώσεων στην αντιμετώπιση των προνυμφών κουνουπιών. Για το πείραμα χρησιμοποιήθηκε το πρωτόκολλο του Παγκοσμίου Οργανισμού υγείας. Το συγκεκριμένο πείραμα αποτελεί μέρος μιας σειράς πειραματών του Εργαστηριού Γεωργικής Φαρμακολογίας σχετικά με τη χρήση αιθέριων ελαίων στην αντιμετώπιση προνυμφών κουνουπιών. This project was carried out in the laboratory of Agricultural Pharmacology of TEI Crete. The purpose of the experiment is to test the efficiency of different basil essential oil concentrations in the treatment of mosquito larvae. For the experiment the protocol of the World Health Organization was used. This experiment is part of a series of experiments the laboratory Agricultural Pharmacology on the use of essential oils in the treatment of mosquito larvae. A major issue for public health are mosquitoes. The various mosquito species can cause serious public health issue directly with their bites or indirectly to carry human disease. Especially the latter constitutes a serious problem for both older and recent years resulting in mosquitoes in many cases are life-threatening, the elderly and small children. Aim of this study is to test the efficacy of different basil essential oil concentrations in the treatment of mosquito larvae.
