| dc.description.abstract | Σκοπός της συγκεκριμένης εργασίας είναι να ερευνήσει τη μαγνητική επιδεκτικόττηα διαφόρων γεωλογικών σχηματισμών με στόχο το χαρακτηρισμό τους. Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο έγινε συλλογή δειγμάτων και προσδιορίστηκε η μαγνητική επιδεκτικότητα σε χαμηλή και υψηλή συχνότητα αλλά και σε διαφορετικές χρονικές στιγμές. Επιπρόσθετα αναλύθηκαν δείγματα από γεωτρήσεις με στόχο να προσδιοριστεί η μεταβολή της μαγνητικής επιδεκτικότητας με το βάθος. Τέλος, επιλεγμένα δείγματα θερμάνθηκαν σε θερμοκρασία μέχρι και 150οC για να μελετηθεί η μεταβολή της επιδεκτικότητάς τους με την πτώση της θερμοκρασίας. | el |
| dc.description.abstract | In the framework of the development of new methods for soil characterization, this work deals with the use of magnetic susceptibility to characterize selected geological formations. Surface soil samples have been collected in 2008 from areas with different geological structure and the magnetic susceptibility in low and high frequencies was first estimated. Thereinafter magnetic susceptibility was estimated in an iterative manner in order to find out the variation of magnetic susceptibility versus time. Samples from boreholes were analyzed in order to estimate the variation of magnetic susceptibility with depth. Finally the cooling curves of selected samples heated to a temperature of 150οC were estimated. | en |
