Abstract

This dissertation project was prepared at the Electrical Engineering department of the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Heraklion Crete during the academic year 2013-2014.Significant assistance was provided by the supervisor for the completion of this project .Here is brief description. Though this degree thesis we will check the current energy situation of neoclassical Hotel in Symi island. We undertake autopsy and recording . Data for : -Ductwork -Insulation (walls , ceiling) -Windows and doors -Heating and cooling systems -Water heating systems Then we submit the result to the appropriate measurement software (KENAK) of 4M requiring an energy certificate.Finally we suggest to the hotel owners 7 different scenarios of improving the current situation of the building , including the cost and time of depreciation of each scenario.
