dc.description.abstractΘέμα της παρούσας πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι η "Η διαχείριση του χρηματοοικονομικού και ανθρώπινου κεφαλαίου και η επίδραση του στην αποδοτικότητα των ελληνικών τραπεζών". Σκοπός της εργασίας αυτής είναι να κάνει κατανοητές τις έννοιες της διαχείρισης γνώσης (knowledge management), του ανθρώπινου κεφαλαίου (human capital) και της διαχείρισης του χρηματοοικονομικού κεφαλαίου, καθώς και την επίδραση αυτών στην αποδοτικότητα των ελληνικών τραπεζών μέσα από μια έρευνα σε 13 τράπεζες της χώρας.el
dc.description.abstractAim: To prove that knowledge management of the human and financial capital of Greek banks have an impact on their efficiency. Through an exhaustive analysis and process of certain financial indices and quality features of Greek banks, this thesis aims to show the relation among financial capital, human capital and knowledge management, as well as how these factors affect bank efficiency. This thesis is structured as follows: The first chapter exhaustively refers to the notion of knowledge management and human capital. It also refers to the literature that has to do with the impact on the most effective management and function of financial units. The second chapter thoroughly analyses the handsels that were used for the paper, as well as a literature review of several researches conducted in the past. The third chapter presents descriptive statistics for the 13 banks that belong to the banking sector, during the years 2000 to 2010 for all handsels. The fourth chapter refers to the data and the methodology used to process these data. The fifth chapter analyses and presents the results we have come to after data processing. Finally, chapter six presents the conclusions of this research. Conclusions: According to the process and analysis followed, we can argue that knowledge and its management have an impact on the effectiveness of a certain business or organization that offers services, especially as far as the banking sector is concerned. To be more specific, if the staff of a bank has the experience, the skills, the willingness and the proper education and the bank is able to take advantage of all that through the culture, the organization and the leadership systems it has, then it will be able to gain a viable competitive asset, which will not be copied by other banks. This way, the bank will be able to evolve and become more competitive in its field. Apart from knowledge and its management, it was also concluded that proper management of a bank’s financial resources has an impact on its effectiveness. When we refer to financial resources, we mean balance data such as grants, loans, total assets, other operating revenues, interest revenues, own capitals etc.en
