Διαχείριση υφάλμυρων υδάτων.

Abstract

The purpose of this diploma thesis is to inform the reader about the risks of water demand due to the increase of population, which will inevitably lead to over-pumping and therefore to the intrusion of salt water to the coastal aquifers resulting in the reduction of drinkable water reserves.

Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία εξετάζεται το πρόβλημα του φαινομένου της υφαλμύρωσης στον Ελλαδικό χώρο και στη συνέχεια η αξιοποίηση του υφάλμυρου νερού μέσω της μεθόδου αφαλάτωσης ως έσχατη λύση στο πρόβλημα αυτό.
