The present dissertation deals with the recording of a set consisting of five brass wind instruments. This recording is divides in two parts. One of them takes place at the recording studio of Technical University of Rethymno Department of Music Engineering and Acoustics and the latter in a place of a different character, considering the Acoustics, than the first one, thus with more reflections. The recording techniques applied are appropriate to the requirements of these two places, , as they are the subject of experimentation for the best avoidance of any problems that arise in the course of such a process. The purpose of this work is initially a comparison of the two recording places and the different techniques are going to be used in them and therefore the optimal similarity to the result by processing the recorded material. The project to be recorded consists of nine pieces from the Renaissance and are adapted for five brass wind instruments. For each and every one of the songs will be a morphological report, theoretical review of the instruments from which they will be performed as regurds their construction and history, as well as the recommended ways of these days recordings.en
