Abstract

Η συγκεκριμένη πτυχιακή καταπιάνεται με την ανάπτυξη ενός διαδικτυακού συστήματος, στο πεδίο της αγοράς ασφαλιστικών προϊόντων, με στόχο την υποστήριξη διάθεσης, συγκριτικής τιμολόγησης, προσωποποίησης ασφαλιστικών προϊόντων, στα πλαίσια ευελιξίας που δυνητικώς αυτοδύναμα υποστηρίζουν, υποβολής και διαχείρισης κρατήσεων. Γι’ το λόγο αυτό, χρησιμοποιήθηκε σειρά σύγχρονων (state-of-the-art) τεχνολογικών εργαλείων και πλαισίων ανάπτυξης (frameworks), ενώ ακολουθήθηκαν οι βέλτιστες πρακτικές, για την απόδοση από πλευράς μηχανικής, συγκεκριμένων ποιοτικών χαρακτηριστικών στον κώδικα, όπως της επαναχρησιμοποίησης, της ευελιξίας, του διαχωρισμού ζητημάτων (separation of concerns), κοκ..

The thesis undertakes the development of an enterprise system, in the domain of insurance market, compiled towards supporting the unified management of data collected through web services implemented-exposed by various insurance organizations. More specifically, the proposed system was designed and implemented to support the unified a) management of data adhering to different relational schemes, b) comparative display, c) tailoring, according to the needs of individuals and range of supported options as for a specific insurance product d) ordering and e) administration of submitted requests. To this end, a series of state-of-the art technologies and frameworks (e.g., apache axis2 web services framework, struts2, tiles, etc.), were used in order to support needs concerning multiple aspects of system’s engineering.
