dc.description.abstractΟ στόχος αυτής της πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι η μελέτη ως προς τον σχεδιασμό με πλαστικά. Με λίγα λόγια θα ασχοληθούμε με τις κατηγορίες των πλαστικών, τις ιδιότητές τους, αρχές σχεδιασμού, περιβαλλοντικές επιπτώσεις, τη δομή τους και τέλος τον τρόπο σύνδεσής τους.el
dc.description.abstractEvery successful development of any product depends on the suitable selection of the material, the process and the proper design which requires the knowledge of the basic material behavior and the right way of using and processing them. This technical document is all about the fundamentals of plastic design. The five first chapters refer to the basic knowledge of plastic materials such as their categories which are thermoplastics, thermosetting, fillers, elastomers, liquid crystalline, crystalline, amorphous, alloys and reinforcements, and their properties (physical, mechanical, electrical and thermal). Thereafter there is an analyzation of the basic design guidelines, the environmental consequences of plastics, structure analysis and in the final chapter the assembly methods. All those subjects are described along with technical figures, diagrams, tables and equations which give a clear illustration of the subject.en
