| dc.description.abstract | Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η προσέγγιση και κατανόηση του πάντα επίκαιρου θέματος της εποπτείας των τραπεζικών ιδρυμάτων και της ρύθμισης της λειτουργίας του χρηματοπιστωτικού συστήματος. Επιχειρείται μία σύντομη παρουσίαση του θεωρητικού υπόβαθρου για την αναγκαιότητα της εποπτείας. Θα γίνει εκτενέστερη αναφορά στους νέους κανονισμούς για την κεφαλαιακή επάρκεια των χρηματοπιστωτικών ιδρυμάτων (Βασιλεία ΙΙΙ), οι οποίοι θα αρχίσουν να εφαρμόζονται τον Ιανουάριο του 2013 και αναμένεται να ολοκληρωθούν το 2019. Το Σύμφωνο της Βασιλείας ΙΙΙ, το οποίο θα αναλυθεί παρακάτω, περιέχει μεταρρυθμίσεις οι οποίες αναπτύχθηκαν από την επιτροπή της Βασιλείας για την τραπεζική εποπτεία και την διαχείριση κινδύνων του τραπεζικού τομεα. | el |
| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this essay is to approach and understand the issue of banking supervision and the regulation of the financial system. A brief presentation of the theoretical background was attempted for those needs. An extensive reference to the new regulations on capital adequacy of the financial institutions (Basel III) was given, this will start in January 2013 and is expected to be completed in 2019. The Basel III accord, which will be described below, contains reforms developed by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, control and risk management in the banking sector. | en |
