Σχεδιασμός και πιλοτική δοκιμή σχολών γονέων για την προαγωγή της οδικής ασφάλειας.

Abstract

Σκοπός: Σκοπός της παρέμβασης ήταν η προαγωγή της ασφαλούς χρήσης οδικού δικτύου και η υιοθέτηση υγιούς οδηγικής συμπεριφοράς. Μέθοδος: Η παρέμβαση χρησιμοποίησε μια ομάδα γονέων (πριν την παρέμβαση n=17 και μετά την παρέμβαση n=5) και η αξιολόγησή της πραγματοποιήθηκε με 2 ερωτηματολόγια πριν και μετά την παρέμβαση. Η παρέμβαση περιελάμβανε τέσσερις δίωρες συναντήσεις βιωματικού χαρακτήρα με δραστηριότητες για την μίμηση προτύπων, τα γονεϊκά πρότυπα και την επικοινωνία στην οικογένεια. Αποτελέσματα: Παρόλο που στις δυο πρώτες συναντήσεις υπήρξε ικανοποιητική συμμετοχή από τους γονείς, στην τρίτη και τέταρτη συνάντηση μειώθηκε πολύ η συμμετοχή των γονέων, γεγονός που δυσκόλεψε την ανάλυση των πληροφοριών, καθώς στο τέλος η σύγκριση των δυο ερωτηματολογίων έπρεπε να γίνει με τις απαντήσεις των πέντε μελών, που έμειναν μέχρι και την τέταρτη συνάντηση. Ως προς τις συμπεριφορές (p=0,498), τις στάσεις/πεποιθήσεις (p=0,844) και τις γνώσεις (p=0,094) πριν, με τις συμπεριφορές (p=0,097), τις στάσεις/πεποιθήσεις (p=0,060) και τις γνώσεις (p=0,498) μετά δεν βρέθηκαν μεγάλες αλλαγές, καθώς δεν υπάρχει στατιστικώς σημαντική διαφορά. Συμπεράσματα: Όσον αφορά τις συμπεριφορές και τις στάσεις /πεποιθήσεις παρατηρήθηκε μικρή βελτίωση, σε αντίθεση με τις γνώσεις που δεν παρατηρήθηκε καμία βελτίωση, αν και δεν είναι σίγουρο αν οφείλετε στην παρέμβαση καθώς το δείγμα ήταν μη αντιπροσωπευτικό, μόνο 5 άτομα. Κρίνεται απαραίτητη η ενίσχυση της γνώσης των γονέων για την σημασία της οδικής ασφάλειας και οδηγικής συμπεριφοράς.

Aim: The aim of the intervention was the promotion of the safe use of the road network and the adoption of a healthy driving attitude. Method: The intervention used a team of parents (before the intervention n=17 and after the intervention n=5)and its assessment was carried out with 2 questionnaires before and after the intervention. Theinterventioncomprisedfourtwo-hourmeetingsofexperiential character with activities for the imitation of role models, the parental role models and the communication within the family. Results: Althoughduringthefirsttwomeetingstherewasasatisfactoryparticipationfromtheparents, inthethirdandfourthmeetingtheparticipationof the parents decreasedsignificantly, a fact that made the breakdown of the information difficult, as at the end the comparison of the two questionnaires had to be made with the answers of the five members that remained up to the fourth meeting. As for the behaviors (p=0,498), the attitudes/beliefs (p=0,844) and the knowledge (p=0,094) before, with the behaviors (p=0,097), the attitudes/beliefs (p=0,060) and the knowledge (p=0,498) after there were not big changes, as statistically there is no significant difference. Results: As far as behaviors and attitudes/beliefs are concerned there was a slight improvement, in comparison with the knowledge for which no improvement was noticed, although it is not certain whether it is due to the intervention as the sample was not representative with only 5 people. The reinforcement of the knowledge of the parents is considered essential for the significance of road safety and driving attitude.
